Added by mikeI got my commander bobtail in 10mm just as CZ quit making them in 2010. What a shame.. I wanted another without having to buy it used. These are such awesome guns.. I don't have another that feels as smooth..or that i trust more. This pistol has been flawless right out of the box. I just cannot believe CZ doesn't still offer this pistol in 10mm when they clearly believe in the 10mm and offer it in other packages.

I picked one up earlier this week, and it was easily one of the best purchases I've ever made. The gun is very tight, very smooth, and shoots very, very well. Added by USP222This gun has been the best companion i have ever I customized it myself by adding a nighthawk custom match grade trugger a ed brown snakeskin MSH and a pair of VZ custom grips and this gun is pretty. My first day at the range I put 200 rds in it without one problem what so ever i dont think these 2009's need any break in period its flawless .. thanks DW/CZ great pistol.. -

Added by RSandersMy favorite pistol to shoot has always been my custom Colt Government model, until now. I've been carrying a Glock 26 with 3 rd ex. because it is so much easier to conceal and is much much more comfortable than my Gov. model. With my Gov. model something always pinched my skin or imprinted. It was uncomfortable to carry all day every day. The Commander Classic Bobtail caught my attention at my local gun shop as I was looking at Kimbers. The height is just short enough to conceal and still feel comfortable in my hands. The bobtail takes away just enough to keep it from making a sharp noticeable imprint. With my larger than average hands, anything smaller becomes challenging to shoot well. For me, this pistol has been the best mix. 50 rounds on the range was all it took to become comfortable with the 10MM cartridge and the short bob'd frame. I've adjusted my grip slightly, but overall it was a smooth transition. I now have a new favorite pistol, and I can carry it every day! -
