Don't let the "Duty" designation trick you. The P-07 model is a compact handgun -- just as appropriate for concealed carry as it is for uniformed duty. The abbreviated 3.8" barrel and compact grip allow the Duty to disappear under clothing much more easily than full-sized models. This compact size and polymer frame along with the new slide profile (fully machined from bar stock) reduce weight, making the P-07 Duty a great choice for concealed carry. Easily adaptable to low light use, the Duty features an accessory rail to which a light or laser can be attached.
When designing the polymer frame for the Duty, the decision was made to retain the basic grip shape (circumference, angle, etc.) so popular in the CZ 75 family of handguns. The polymer frame platform eliminated the need for the grip panels that are used on most steel and alloy-framed autos. The absence of the grips resulted in some available space that was used to increase the magazine capacity by 2 rounds. The results speak for themselves -- the flush-fitting magazine of the P-07 Duty holds the same number of rounds that the full-sized versions of the CZ 75 do in both 9mm and .40 S&W.
The most innovative feature of the P-07 duty is the Omega trigger system. The new mechanism was first introduced on the P-07 model. It simplifies the CZ 75 trigger system, uses fewer parts and improves the trigger pull, but the real story is in the versatility it provides for its owner. The Omega system allows users to choose between operating the handgun with a decocking lever (installed) or a manual safety (included) by a simple parts change.
NEW! P-07 w/ threaded barrel – Suppressor ready! – Available May 2012
This version of the P-07 Duty has been set up to accept a sound suppressor. The 1/2x28 threaded muzzle accepts most suppressors made for the US market. The sights on this variation are higher than normal. They will clear 1” diameter suppressors and provide a good sight picture with larger diameters when shooting with both eyes open.

very good handgun especially with the deal with the tac light the only issue I'm having is finding a holster to accommodate the pistol with the tac light attached to it
I found a p07 duty 9mm at a local shop a few months ago, it shot so good and smooth I had to sell all of my Glocks. Now my son is training for competitive shooting in our area and won't shoot anything else. So I had to hunt and hunt to find a second one for him all I could find was a .40 cal it just doesn't get any better now we are on the look out for a few more again. We can't say enough good things about these guns, it's fun when you can hand them to another brand gun owner at the range and they can't say a work but dam it.
Hi, I got this beauty in OD Green a couple of months back. It is a reliable and accurate weapon in a very good price. Very good value for money. Presently it is my carry weapon. I take it to the range frequently. Two thumbs up! :-)
I have now run about 500 rounds through this gun. I have to say it has the best trigger i have ever shot. my accuracy has improved greatly. I have the 9mm version and have had not failure with various ammo. Now if only I could find a P 09? CZ i am sold.
CZ P-07 was my first firearm. I bought it mid 2012. I shot hundreds of rounds S&B ammo. For my first gun I learn how to operated and maintained it. Also, tried assorted ammo manufactures. The gun preformed flawlessly. Except, P-07 was cleaned and when I ran 100 rds of Tulammo. I had accouple of FTF and FTE. The weapon is very accurate and a very good trigger syst.specially when it is cocked. The trigger is very light. I give the customer service five stars. I spoke with a gun smith and he was very helpful. I send my weapon for service and asked to added a night sites and told to expect 2-3 months for return. Within 3 weeks it was returned to me. I was very surprised when i open the box. my first respond was, this is not my CZ, but when I read the letter it came with it. I received a new one from the manufacture for an exchange. The experience, I give it 5 stars.
I've owned CZ sidearms for several years now. I recently acquired the P-07 9mm model. The guns a nice shooter. Out of the gates I've been extremely pleased. It holds well, and is very light weight. I may change the sites but otherwise I'm truly content. I've shot cheap rounds w/ zero hang ups. I can also say the same for any CZ weapon I've fired. The gun shoots anything I've chambered it with. This is a gem and I recommend it for anyone that carries ( duty or not ). CZ makes it really tough to look at any other makers, especially after you shoot one..
How much do I like and trust CZ? So much that I bought 2. A special package deal with a tactical light. One for myself and one for my daughter. We both love them and I know if she is ever needs to defend herself she can count on her PO-7 to be there. I also own a Rami in 40 S&W which is my personal carry gun. CZ - best value, always reliable.
I have had my cz for about a month and I really am in love with it. I carry it everyday. It's very comfortable and very easy shooting. I am sold on the CZ company as a whole and will be buying many more.
If you are in the market for a new hand gun look no further. At the indoor range where I work we cannot keep them instock. I have had current military, law enforcement, DEA, DOD & DOJ shoot mine & they have traded their duty weapon to the P-07. Accurate, light weight, dependable & affordable. This is a must buy & hat-off to CZ for their engineering/design.
I bought my P07 Duty about 18 months ago. I have put close to 500 rounds through it without problem. I did start to experience an issue with the magazine drop and after a little research on the web learned that this was an issue with some earlier models. I emailed CZ customer service. They sent out RMA paperwork and I returned the weapon thinking they would perform warranty service. A couple of weeks later they returned a NEW weapon. I am extremely pleased with the way CZ handled this and I will be looking at a .40 P07 soon. A special thanks to Jim S. for my great customer service experience.
I have been involved with many handguns over 40 years and this one is a winner and keeper. I dearly wanted the original CZ-75 BD type, but it was just too big for my smaller hands. I hefted both the CZ-75 and the CZ-75 P07 and it was clear to see the P07 was the one that fit my hand best. It has the same internal slide rail system that makes the CZ 75 BD and the Sig P210 so accurate. And it is safe to carry loaded. I own a Glock and the trigger pull is too light. The CZ 75 P07 has a much safer and longer trigger pull in the first-shot Double Action mode, so I feel very safe with the CZ chambered. The build is obviously super strong. The trigger pull is smooth. It is very similar in size to my older Sig P225, so much, I can use its holster. I love my CZ 75 P07. After years of admiring the CZ Colonel Jeff Cooper was so fond of mentioning, I finally have one, and it is more concealable and much lighter than my .45 ACP Colt Lightweight Commander. And with modern ammo, it is good to go.
First, let me say that I NEVER write endorsements for products, I just don't. I had to break my rule today. I purchased my P-O7 yesterday. I was able to fire it today at a local range. I shot 150 rounds thru the gun with no problems. I had owned a Beretta 9mm before losing it during hurricane Katrina. I don't remember it being anywhere near as accurate as this gun. At 15 yds I was able to focus on the numbers on the target and hit them. (I already anihilated the red X section in the middle of the target) The trigger pull is smooth whether shooting double or single action. (my S&W 38 revolver is jerky as compared to this gun's trigger action) I really enjoy this gun and hope that it services my needs for years to come. I highly recommend it. Joe
Bought mine in May of '12 & was my 1st 9mm. Love the fit of the grip and it shoots great! My buddy also picked one up and he's happy he did.....CZ=Great Gun!
This is my first personal handgun purchase and I have to say the quality of the handgun for the purchase price is outstanding. Took it to my local range with a few friends who own glocks and h&k pistols of various calibers. Both of them loved the gun and the glock guy actually said he may trade in his g19 for a p07. Never hesitate to pick one up and remember there CZimply the best.
I cannot rave enough about this gun. As hardcore as I think I am, I have come to the realization that I suffer from tiny, tiny hands -- the P07 Duty is one of the few guns I am completely comfortable shooting. And what a sweetheart of a gun! Accuracy, speed, operational ease, a great trigger, and ergonomic delight combine to make this the steal of the "wondernines." I am awed by this gun!
Picked one up at my local gun shop and loved it the pistol is as accurate as an other and for a price of $425 you can't find a better deal, I did have an issue with mine considering it was an early A series serial number it had the frame issue but with an e-mail to CZ they had me send it in and replaced it with a B series frame issues resolved and several other tweaks that i find useful, I only had to go CZless for a week so their backing of their products is amazing and anyone who has something bad to say about their customer service probably has done something wrong in the process because in my opinion they couldn't have been more prompt on having me ship my pistol in and replace it.
I am a HUGE fan of 1911s I like there slim design, dependability, history and ergonomics not too mention they're GORGEOUS! but as great as they are to shoot and admire I wasn't comfortable with carrying a 1k gun and getting it banged up every day or even taken away as evidence under certain circumstances. I needed a everyday pistol that was reliable, not too bulky and lighter then my 1911s. The P-07 Duty is the 1st polymer gun I've bought in years and also my 1st CZ. I've always heard people who've owned CZ's say they loved them and enjoyed shooting them so I decided too pull the trigger and get one. I bought mine at a local Gander Mountain and was impressed with the fit and finish. Mine actually came w. a tactical light which I really like. How much you say? How bout $499 w. the light... What a STEAL!!!! I absolutely love this gun the feel is similar too my 1911 but lighter and more round cap. 16+1 of 9mm! Great deal and awesome pistol.... I can't wait too shoot it and make all my friends jealous!!!!
I have owned numerous handguns over the past 30++ years and have fired many, many more. I really liked the feel of the P07 Duty (9mm) the first time I held one, but truely fell in love the first time I fired it. My first clip full was consistantly 2" low & 2" right. That was quickly & easily corrected. After 250 rounds I would say that this weapon is as accurate as my Baretta 92 & better than any Glock or Walther I have ever fired. The balance is perfect and re-acquisition to target is immediate. Easily concealed for carry. I still love my Baretta, but for me the P07 is a perfect weapon at a perfect price.
Bought this handgun (9mm)last week and have shot 300 rounds with it. First impression is terrific. Feels great in the hand, accurate and small enough for concealed carry. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend this to everyone.
I purchased my 1st CZ in August this year & I will not go back. While there are very good handguns out there by other manufacturers & I've fired most of them (benefits of working at an indoor shooting range) the CZ's were the smoothest & for me more comfortable which increased my accuracy than anything else I've fired to date. The quality/design of CZ's products is outstanding, their customer service & ease of ordering sights, parts & accessories by far exceeds any other manufacturers website/customer service. Outstanding prodcuts, superior customer service & great pricing makes it an easy decision to purchase a CZ. The only thing I can say is go fire one for yourself.
My fourth handgun and second .40 cal, accurate and balanced. purchased new for 400 plus taxes, i know i got an awesome deal
I was a first time handgun buyer and didn't really know what to get. I ordered the P-07 Duty and I am very pleased. I have small hands and this gun fits and feels great. I wiped all the grease off and put a tiny bit of oil on the barrel. I've put 100 rounds through it and have not had a single misfire. I have fired other polymer-frame handguns recently and each one makes me exceedingly happy that I chose the CZ P-07. My friends are jealous.
I was able to order my 'Duty' through a military installation. It is my first pistol and I am very proud to say it is a CZ. I heard about the CZ Duty through TNP (The Nutnfancy Project), on youtube, and was happy to know it filled almost all of my criteria I wanted in a pistol. I'm a left-handed shooter. Hammer, polymer frame, steel trigger, a uniquely scalloped slide, .40 caliber, ambidextrous decocker/safety, ambidextrous-capable magazine release (I switched over for a left thumb release from it's original right thumb release), compact-ish size at a 3.8 inch barrel, light weight (1.7 lbs), two magazines (A stiff spring is tough to get all 12 rounds inserted.), well balanced, 1913 rail under the barrel for a light (sweet!), and last, but not least, easy to disassemble. I had an airsoft pistol that breaks down the same way. This is a piece of cake. CZ, I am very happy with my first pistol purchase and happy to report no FTF's or FTE's after 250 rounds. Yes, it is still in its 'break-in' period, but I have high hopes for this 'self/personal/family-defender'. I know it will not let me down. Next on my wish list, a P-06 compact .40 cal.
I ordered my duty in a 40 cal and it came in a couple weeks back. Ive got a few hundred rounds through it and not one misfeed, failure to fire, or failure to eject. The gun is literally amazing. The duty fits my hand like a glove but somehow also fits my girlfriends hand(much smaller than mine) perfectly, I dont know how they do it but its great. Ive had a chance to compare it to a glock 23 and an xdm (both in .40cal) Hands down the duty won the competition. It was consistently more accurate than the xdm and ergonomically the glock wasn't even a comparison. My buddy that owns the glock was impressed and said "im sold on CZ" Ive never had anything bad to say about glock but after comparing it side by side to the duty i was left scratching my head. I would trust my life to both guns but as far as looks and feel the glock is left at the starting line. The SA trigger is amazing, the DA trigger is impressive as well. I strongly believe there is no better value on the market. On a side note i know some ppl complained about the "non contained" guide rod and spring....that is now fixed along with any mag drop issues or polymer issues! Don't second guess this gun...order it today.
I sold my SP-01 and P-01 because I did not like CZ's recurve trigger much (pinched my big fingers). But the Omega trigger system in the P-07 felt so much smoother (and muzzle flip, to me, was so much less) that I traded in my 75D PCR after test-firing the polymer gun at the range. If the .40 S&W version is as sweet as the 9mm I have, the P-07 is going to be a good seller for CZ. Don't get me wrong: I favor all-metal pistols. But for $425, the P-07 was a great deal and, unlike the Glocks, FNs, XD and SigPro I owned in the past, it still feels "tight" after launching many rounds downrange. The only obvious wear has been where the the slide rides over the barrel hood during recoil; CZ might consider a tougher barrel finish than phosphating. With its plastic sights, aggressive grip texture and overall chunky design, the P-07 is not as "classy" as the various takes on the traditional CZ 75. I'm not even sure "75" should even be in the name of this ultra-modern gun. But the '07 is a good knock-about gun, at least for my purposes, and I'll bet they'll gain a following, especially for budget-minded shooters looking to try their first CZ. As word gets out, I would expect the P-07 to start grabbing polymer-gun market share. Hopefully that will drive prices down on replacement magazines, because that's been the only downside for me so far. I should also mention that I bought a replacement mag with blued steel as opposed to the anti-friction coating on my factory mags. The blued finish actually seems to drop free a little better than the "anti-friction" version; either way, a little variety is nice to have in the range bag!
I just bought a p-07 for my edc. WOW! What an awesome weapon.I also own a cz75b. Both guns are a joy to shot as they are very accurate and reliable. Buy one!!
All of these posts are true about the quality and value of this pistol and I'm glad I listened. Bought the .40 S&W version and went straight to the range. This gun is the real deal. Great trigger, smooth and fun to shoot, very accurate, no jams or FTF. Love it!!! Need to realease a 45 ACP version next!!! Only regret was I couldn't find the OD green version so had to settle for black.
I have been a Law Enforcement Officer and Firearms Instructor for 26 years. I took the po-7 in 40 caliber to the range and fired at our B-27 qual. targets at 15 yards. Every round (30)was in the X-ring. I'm going to order my next one in a 9mm. Fantastic gun and quality.
This is an awesome pistol. I own and have fired many different guns including Springfield XDM, Sig, Glock, Kimber, etc and my CZ 75 P-07 Duty handles as good if not better then most of them. My gun is very accurate right out of the box. I've fired over 200 rounds so far without any failures or problems. The trigger is smooth and crisp in SA and DA. The sights are nice and allow quick and easy sight picture and acquisition. I really didn't know much about CZ before this gun but the price was very reasonable and it appeared to be a well built gun so I took the chance. I'm really glad that I did.
I bought my CZ 75 P-07 about 8 months ago and I just used it for my range qualification for security and scored very high with the gun. I'm left handed and the controls works great for me with no problems, but finding a holster for was a problem, but I ordered one on the cz web site and it works great. I use to carry a Ruger SR9 but now I carry my CZ 75 P-07 9mm as my duty pistol now.
Well I bought mine little over two months ago and have been itching to shoot it. I've been in the military (Marines) for 19 years now and I will say I've shot my fair share of pistols growing up as a kid and in the military all we have is the Beretta 9mm. Well I shot my CZ the other day only 15 rds and all I can say is WOW! This thing is out of this world awesome! I set up three bottle full of water about 25 yards away and the hit them with the first 3 rounds. The trigger pull is amazing, the feel of the pistol in my hand is amazing, and most of all I loved all the reviews I read on the durability of this pistol. It reminds me of an AK-47 you can beat them bury them and run over them and they still work! I'm seriously considering buying a second one and I hope you all consider making a subcompact. I have no complaints on this weapon whatsoever and I will be buying more weapons from CZ!!! Thank you CZ for an AWESOME PISTOL!!!
Having worked with the Correctional Service Of Canada for going on 6 years now, Also working part time at a gun store and dabbling a little with gun working I can tell you that i have worked with quite a few handguns. My first was a Glock 22 which i thought was the best out there, but of course i wanted to try everything and anything. Ive owned shot and modified Sig, kimber, S&W, H&K, Ruger, High Standard and of course Glock. Due to my career we carry H&K p2000 v.5 9mm and i wanted something in the same caliber but not the same gun, as it is not so much fun to have the same gun you work with daily. At my part time job many people ask about CZ pistols and until recently all i knew was how to take down the firearm but had no shooting impressions. So i decided to purchase one and add it to the collection. Not to slam any of my other firearms they are of good quality but the CZ 75 P-07 Duty 9mm is by far the most enjoyable weapon to shoot. And accuracy, well i will agree fully with other CZ people in saying holy crap. Needless to say the next gun i am getting is another CZ. enough said. P.S. I sold all of my other handguns and am happy to say that if any of you are looking for a good holster the Blackhawk Serpa for the H&K USP Standard fits this firearm perfectly. Happy shooting everyone.
It is rare that you find a handgun that you can describe in one solitary word, but this P-07 DUTY is just that. Working for a firearms dealer and manufacturer has its benefits for sure, and my recent experience is indeed thanks to James at Trident Armory. I had been in the market for a new pistol for concealed carry and had hemmed and hawed for weeks. The CZ P-07 Duty caught my eye while "window shopping" and I stumbled across one at a local dealer. I had to see what the hype was about, so I asked to survey the pistol. I was sold the second I acquired my shooting grip. I contacted our vendors only to find that the Duty was an allocated item. That was less than pleasing. I had James, who by the way is my boss, and the owner of Trident Armory look into finding one. Well...he did! HAPPY FACE! He handed me my new piece and simply smiled. He had already ran a few rounds through it and was more than impressed with its performance. This from a man who manufactures the finest AR chassis rifles! He described the trigger to me, smooth, and not crisp, but sharp. He continued to tease me for a few minutes and then handed me my box. I got home and diligently disasembled my weapon, cleaned up the packing oil, unpacked the spare magazing and cleaned that as well. I spent the next few hours that evening cycling the action and dry firing while aiming at random targets around my living room. I could hardly wait to get home while the sun was still up and experience this phenom for myself. My wait was short, and the next afternoon I was lucky enough to get home with plenty of time to spare. I cleared my range, hung my targets, loaded my magazines, applied my hearing protection and stood on the line. I inserted the first magazine and slammed the action forward. It stopped with a beautiful "snap" and just felt solid. The bolt engaged, and the slide forward, I went first to the hammer drop safety. How did you make it so smooth and quiet! From a tactical standpoint the near silent dropping of that hammer is an engineering marvel! I had to look to make sure it worked, and I repeated the process a few times to simply enjoy the action at the tip of my right thumb. The grip is fantastic. I have a large hand, and most compacts are not kind to my "big ol' paws" as my loving future wife calls them. This was different. I laughed when I read the comments from the woman when she compared a handguns fit to the fit of a bra...I was not laughing anymore. She was absolutely correct! I have changed grips on other handguns in my arsenal, and now realized why...they were not CZ's! I pondered which one of the CZ engineers came to my house while I was sleeping to measure my hand and perhaps even take a mold. It is that comfortable. While a "tonka" gun, it is happily lacking the GLOCK feel (no offense to you Glock-ies). It is not square, not round, not sharp or dull, it feels like a ball of clay, and fits like it was made for me. The angle of the grip is ergonomical and quite comfortable. Even a beginner would have no trouble with the "front sight, rear sight, wrist" alignment. I admired the pistol in my hand, making no adjustments to my grip, I stood it up and took a peek downrange through the sights. The sight picture is beautiful. While similar to that of a Glock, it is different as soon as you realize that the front of the slide is gone. The tapering that was done on either side of the front sight post only aids in lining things up. There is no shadowing! When you look down the sights, by design all you see is the front sight post. Great job again CZ! My pistol came with a test target which demonstrated that my pistol fired low at 15 yards. That is where I wanted to start and see for myself. I took aim and as I was thinking about squeezing the trigger I was pleased as a kid in a candy shop to see muzzle flash. Talk about your surprise break! It did shock me, I had dry fired over and over and you still cannot appreciate the trigger until you actually let lead fly downrange. I gathered myself from my emotional high, and went back to the task of dialing in my new pistol. Out of the box, no adjustments, and I was dropping quarter sized groups at 15 yards! OUT OF THE BOX! I changed magazines and continued on my journey of joy behind my P-07 Duty. Muzzle rise is almost none. The weight of the slide, combined with the ergonomic grip, and large beaver tail help to keep the business end where you want it. Sight picture is easy to acquire, not to mention fast, in part to the sloped sides of the slide. My slow methodical target practice complete, I wanted to put this pistol through its paces. I reloaded both magazines, and returned to the line. My "bad guy" target untouched, I drew and fired two rounds. Center mass, and quite close together, I was impressed! The rest of the mag was fired at a rate of about one round per second, steady boom boom boom. The first magazine left a 5 inch hole in the middle of Mr. Bad Guys chest. A very fast magazine change and I was going for the failure drill, tap tap tap in quick succession, three rounds in the head. I switched back and forth for a bit, two in the chest, one in the head, and never lost sight of my target and caught muzzle flash on more than one occasion. After 100 rounds, I had one failure, and I can promise you it was in the ammo, not the gun! I had that single FTF, and before I was done for the night I reloaded that round, which had a very sharp and deep firing pin imprint. Pulled the trigger and again, FTF. The double action trigger is as kind as you would imagine, there is no pulling of the pistol as you pull back. It is not terribly long, and remains crisp, no I take that back, SHARP as that hammer falls. The sear resets quickly without having to let the trigger run all the way to the forward stop which makes rapid and accurate firing possible. Long story short, now that you have read my short story, you cannot go wrong with this pistol! I chose the 9mm for various reasons and I can only say I am impressed at every turn with it. One word...AMAMZING! Great job CZ!
When I started looking around for another off duty pistol, a local gun shop owner recommended a CZ to me. I heard about CZ, but never fired one. I read reviews on the company and saw very positive feedback. I purchased the P07 Duty. I took it to the range and fell in love with the pistol. I own numerous pistols and 1911s and none of them are as fun to shoot as the P07. The gun is very easy to conceal. Some of my coworker shot the pistol and enjoyed it as much as i did. It is very accurate. The trigger reset and pull are second to none. Great firearm and I will be purchasing more firearms from CZ in the future.
I bought this pistol 2 months ago and it was my first. I read alot of reviews, saw alot of videos and everything said about the cz 75 was positive. It is an excellent pistol, you will not be disappointed.
I purchased one of the first generation P-07s in a .40 caliber but the mag fit too tight in the frame and didn't release properly. I finally sent the gun in about a month ago. The pistol arrived via FedEx today and upon open the box I found that CZ had not just fixed the gun but instead sent me a whole new case with a brand new gun and brand new magazines. The gun is amazing. I would strongly suggest this pistol to anyone over a Kimber or an HK, it is the most accurate and well balanced pistol I have ever shot. I am extremely grateful to CZ and their outstanding customer service. Great work at the price and customer service you would expect from a top of the line firearm company.
I just bought my p07 in jan 2012 and it is without a doubt the best gun on the market for the money. You could spend twice as much and still not get a gun that's as good as the p07! I had the tight mag problem as well but I didn't send mine back I dropped the mag a couple hundred times to break it in,it was still a little tight, but after shooting first clip it warms up a bit and always drops out when shooting, so this is not a problem because it operates fine when shooting! I do want to the threaded barrel and raised sights I hope they start selling the barrels/sights by themselves! I wanted a gun as reliable as the glock without buying a glock(I hate anything popular) this gun is a glock killer as I had read in many forums. 2000 rounds later with all different types of ammo this gun has been flawless not one problem, aside from lack of after market accessories
CZ-USA did a fantastic job in replacing my CZ-p07 9mm. Had issues with magazine release. The pistol was the first generation. Thanks again for the great customer service. Love CZ-USA and thanks to Nutnfancy for the reviews.
This was my first purchase (9mm model) as a home defense pistol, and I have no desire to search any more. I've shot other caliber handguns, and I'd have to say 9mm is definitely the sweet spot, both recoil versus punch and pocketbook wise. The more times I take this to the range, the more I like it, it shoots like butter and I have had zero mechanical problems with it so far (500+ rounds). I think it's a well balanced, well thought out piece, and I love the amount of ammunition it holds. The only complaint that I have is that CZ makes limited OEM accessories. I waited for awhile hoping it was because it was a new model, but I'm still disappointed with both the OEM and aftermarket offerings. This is a platform that will stand the test of time gentlemen, time to start expanding the options please!
As I expected its the best gun for the money as all cz's have been to me. The way it feels in the hand, to the fact 1000rounds later I have never had a fault with it. The ease of dis-assembly and cleaning is great. And this is what I thought my Gf who had never shot before in her life on and fell in love after the first clip... lol now to track down a 9mm for her. Best gun purchase ever.
By far my best shooting range gun, I can shoot my CZ all day and not get tired. The best trigger experience for the money. (including Glocks and M&Ps) I have owned the gun for 6 months and all my friends who don't know about the CZ duty say, what is the name and where did I purchase the gun. I have the gun in 9mm, my only regret is that I should have bought it 40 cal. Oh well, maybe its time to add the 40 to my collection too.
My son purchased the P07 for me. I can't say enough about the trigger. Smoothest shooting back on target pistol I have ever shot. Read a lot of bad reviews from different people about the P07, but it hasn't happened to me. Great quality of workmanship. It shoots any kind of ammo with no hangups. Just wish I could find a holster like the Brown right handed all leather "Hawk". If someone in Southern California has one, take it to Bianchi Holsters and let them make a holster master so we can all buy one!
A very accurate, quality and reliable piece. Takes any 9x19mm ammo no problem. Perfect for carry. Hard to find a holster but the Galco Paddle PDL440B Genuine gunleather holster for the Springfield XD 3.8 9/40 fits like a glove.
I work at good size gun shop and have been wanting one of these for along time. I finally made the purchase and couldn't be happier. I carry a glock 19 at the shop but this will be my permanant shop carry piece. The beavertail frame just makes this gun feeel so right. You can get a great grip on this gun,and with the beavertail it helps with spreading the recoil. This gun feels so much better shooting that my 19. It doesn't jump around anywhere near as much. I ran 450 rounds of 115gr s&b through it without a hitch, have yet to try any hollowpoints. I was shooting at hanging bowling pins at 25yrds all day and could not miss. i was shooting off hand, and its a laser beam! I think was shooting softballs at 15 and 25 with no problems. Very pleased with the accuracy. My old problem was when I switched from decocker to cocked and locked. In swapping it out, there is a small chevron piece of plastic that is on the rear of the safety that had a problem seating. When I tried to fit it, the damn spring behind it flew out and when i found it, it was bent. In trying to call cz I had to leave a message, but never got a return call. I did get it all back together, but the cocked and locked mode felt very,"mooshy" it wasn't a postive ,"on and off" feeling. So i switched it back to decocker only and will leave it alone. As far as holster options are concerned, i just ordered a bladetech OWB for it. Called them up and spoke to a guy named Angus i think. Very friendly and helpful. One poster said that he used a xd blackhawk holster for it...but its DOES NOT FIT. Save your money and buy the bladetech. All in a all, a great fitting gun, thats so fun to shoot, easy to clean, and so very reliable. You won't have any regrets!
I recently bought this and it is my first CZ. Bought it on a whim as the price was too good to pass up. I am glad I bought it, I own many handguns in multiple calibers and I have to say this has become absolutely my favorite handgun out of my collection. Smooth operation, accurate, lightweight, easy to carry, and looks fantastic. I have put about 300 rounds down range with this so far with zero failures, using various types of rounds, both factory, reloaded with and with out casted bullets. Three words, "Buy this gun!" you will not be disappointed.
Looking at .40s found the p07 has a good fit to it, shoots good, misfeeds at times ,not often, with hollow points, but no problems just a pull on the slide. Any one looking for a serpa holster found blackhawk #31 for Springfield xd Sub-Compact fits like a glove 410531BK-R for right handed. Now the question is a. 22 kit???
I got into CZ because a friend gave me a broken CZ-27; I fixed and started shooting it often. When it came to by a new pistol I chose CZ. The P07 Duty has been flawless. Whenever I let people fire a few rounds with it they are always impressed and looking to get their own. Thanks
I have had my CZ P-07 Duty now for about two years. I have owned many different handguns, Walthers, Kimbers, Glocks, Ruger, Taurus, Kahr, and Sig. I still own some of them and have sold others. I also own several other CZ models. This handgun, the CZ P-07 Duty is by far the best handgun that I have ever owned, and many cost much more than it did. It is extremely accurate, shot after shot. It is very well balance and the weight is perfect. I like the trigger better than my Kimber. If I could only have one handgun out of all those I own or have owned, this would be my first choice. It is truly an awesome, remarkable, consistent, reliable and accurate handgun. Thank you CZ! for brining it to me. Buy one, you won't be dissapointed.
I had a tight magazine problem with mine. Sent it back to CZ and they replaced it. One thing if you send something back to them for warranty work, ask for a free shipping label. I did not and paid a good amount to send it back. Called CZ and explained the situation. They have a no reimburse policy, but they did send me some extra mags. That was fine because I would have spent the money on more anyhow. Hope the new P-07 shoots as well as the old. All my friends agree the old one was a great shooting hand gun. I personally like the natural feel and aim of it. Thanks CZ
I bought my Duty pistol about 2 years ago and I love it. I had one of the pistols that had a tight mag release, I called CZ they told me to send the gun and both mags, with in a week I had a new gun with 2 new mags. Talk about a great company taking good care of there customers. The first duty pistol shot low and left so I was glad to get a new one that shoots right on the money. Every thing about this pistol is perfect as far as I'm concerned. I have big hands and it fits perfect. Most pistols with a 16 round mag seem big in your hand. Not this one. I love it and plan on never getting rid of it. I have never shot a glock and from what I hear I dont think I need to. In every review I have read, everyone says it shoots better then a glock. Great gun..
I have Glocks and Sig Sauers. while I really enjoy shooting both, I shoot more accurately with my CZ. It fits my hand the best,(I have XL hands)and I love the single-action trigger. I've had the pistol almost two years, and I've never had any kind of failure with it. My next hand gun will be a CZ-75 metal frame.
This has to be the best gun I own it will shoot perfectly sraight every time and its a well made beautiful gun that will never let you down could not be more happy with mine I got mine at Academy for 440$ with tax and I got the 40 .cal and thanks CZ for an amazing gun!
Purchased my CZ P07 Duty a little while ago. Absolutely loving it! Easy to change decocker/safety. This gun is very accurate and very fun to shoot, even for lefties like me!! Anyone who purchases this pistol will not be disappointed.
This is my second pistol and one of dozens I have shot and this is by far my favorite. I have put 500 rounds through it and no malfunctions and a pleasure to shoot. This pistol is also a great carry pistol as it is light, compact, accurate, and disappears under a loose shirt. I look to get a SP-01 Phantom next as a home defense pistol. Keep up the great work CZ!
I held the sig sauer polymer handguns along with the stoeger couger. and they just felt fat in my hand. But when I held the cz-75 p07 I fell in love in fit so well in my hand. Thanks CZ for being different and making a polymer handgun something you can love to shoot.
After picking up the CZ PO7, handling it, getting a feel for the smooth 2.5 trigger pull, I started looking at it differently. I had thought I was going to purchase the P01 and went to my gunstore for that reason. I bought it, the shop helped me give it a good clean/lube before taking it on the range to try out. I was thrilled and amazed at it's balance and accuracy. Very easy pointing gun. Easy to stay on target. Mild recoil. Have tried both decocker and safety options, both work easily. Same with switching them around. Read instructions on how to, and save yourself some frustration. I give this pistol a 5 out of 5 star rating. Coming up on 800+ rounds without a single FTE, or FTF. Only drawback- hard to find good night sights that will fit it. CZ, please get on it. You've got an awesome product that needs nite-sites! The squared trigger guard starts to make a lot of sense when you start attaching lights/laser to it.
My buddy has an FNP 9mm and I had been sold on getting an FNP. Though, I went to the local shop here, and was looking at their selection FNP's. Their sales rep let me hold a couple of different ones they had in stock and none of them felt solid in my hand. My other buddy was with me, and pointed out that they had CZ's and I had read plenty of reviews on the CZ brand saying that they were an excellent brand of fire arms, and very accurate and reliable. I picked out the P07 Duty 9x19, and the sale rep set it on the counter. From the moment I picked it up, and felt it in my hand, it was amazing. Nothing else felt as perfect in my hand as the P07 Duty. I put it down on lay-away, and two months later when I went back to get it I felt like a kid at Christmas. After going home and cleaning my new firearm, I went right back out to the range, and WOW! Just perfect. The gun is rated at 25 meters and at that range every shot was within in 2 to 3 inches of each other. I pushed the target back to 30 meters, and even at that range, I was with in 4 inches of every shot. 35 meters I was all over that target, but still within the torso (and that's amazing at that distance because for a pistol, that's a very long distance). I'd recommend the CZ75 P07 Duty to anyone in the market for an accurate, reliable pistol. My next rifle purchase will be a CZ as I have high expectations of their firearms now. Thank you CZ for making an amazing quality pistol.
I am a security officer in fl, I will tell you this, my first pistol was a glock, I traded it for a 75b then bought the p07 in 9mm, this pistol has no match I have never fired a more well balanced, accurate, and smooth firing weapon in my life, the first time I fired it I was amazed the recoil is fantastic and at 25 yards I was able to keep all my rounds in a 3in grouping, as a duty firearm my company is big on the XD I am not a fan of polimer frames and this pistol changed that.... holsters are a pain to find but safariland makes a holster for the M&P 45 w/ taclight that fits like a glove, for a cary pistol it is perfect. My only complaint is the sights, the paint came off my first day at the range.... no biggy, that and they are polimer, if they where metal there would be no complaints, I am a big fan of all steel firearms but CZ sold me on polimer as well as all their firearms I will never buy anything but CZ from now on and I recomend it to everyone in my company, the best gun I have ever owned worth double what I paid for it, feel free to email me with any questions, scott_elliott87@yahoo.com
Bought the P-07 after picking it up. Felt perfect in my hand, love the sights and grip. Need to do the conversion to regular safety. Would love to find an IWB holster for it.
accurate, easily attainable 2nd. shot, awesome balance, no problems whatsoever! perfect carry weapon !!! cz, HOMERUN !!!
Recently purchased a 9mm P-07, the most balanced and accurate hand gun i have yet to shoot. i highly recomend buying one.
I must say as a first time buyer of CZ pistols I was absolutley amazed by the quality and craftsmanship. As an avid 1911 shooter and carrier, this gun is right up there. Styling is second to none and the trigger rivals that of the best. Definitely am a CZ buyer for life. Can't get a better firearm.
This sidearm handles and shoots easily, and groups very well, looks like a potential winner for CZ-USA!
