  After a year-plus & 3700 rounds thru my then-75B, I just traded up to the SP-01. Love the thinner grips, the higher beavertail enables me to get at the safety better. What a joy to fire! Test-fired it with 55 rounds of different grains and was once again hooked!! Fired an IPSC match today & the accuracy was excellent and cycling of the action while stiff, as to be expected, was without problems. I again made the right choice. Looking forward to an excellent shooting summer!!

  I just wanted say that a couple months ago, a friend & I went to an indoor shooting range. I rented the CZ 75B 9mm handgun form the range(also CZ dealership) There's no need to say I was hooked on CZ handguns. I was very surprised on the how accurate they are. Now I will be purchasing my 1st CZ handgun(CZ SP-01 Tactical)online in the next few days. Thanks CZ Firearms for making quality, well built, accurate, & affordable handguns

  I purchased my first 9mm back in December of 2011. It was a Glock 17 and no matter what I did, I just never could get it to feel quite right. After lots of research and countless hours of reading reviews and watching videos, I sold off my Glock and purchased a CZ75 SP-01 Tactical, sight unseen. A couple of days later, my local shop called to let me know it was there for me to pick up. I unboxed it right there in the shop and the moment I picked it up, I thought, "This is what a pistol is supposed to feel like." It was heavy, comfortable and tight. The tolerances are manufactured to exacting specs. It doesn't rattle and all of the actions are extremely smooth and precise. It just feels right. I swapped out the recoil spring and main spring and also replaced the sights with a target set. Finally, I decked her out with some Coco Bolo grips from right here at CZ's website (I've attached a photo I took of the gun after I added all the mods) and I can't tell you how many compliments I get from people that not only see my pistol, but shoot it. After about 1000 rounds, it has yet to fail to fire or jam (except for 2 rounds that were defective - not the gun's fault). It breaks down easily and cleans up quickly. I couldn't possibly be any happier with my purchase. Thanks to CZ and crew for making, what I believe to be, the finest 9mm pistol on the market. Be careful when you go look at these in the store. Wrap your hand around one, and you'll take it home with you, guaranteed. Happy shooting, Matthew

  As others here, I did my own research before buying my first gun. It was the CZ-75 SP-01. Could never be happier. I've only had it for about a year and shot around 5000 rounds. It has never failed to shoot except the time I had a bad reload torn apart in two. My only complaint con CZ is availability. Im on the look for a CZ-75 TS in San Diego and can't find one :/

  I went shooting for the first time a few weeks back at a local range and felt immediately hooked. Suffice to say I began digesting information in my free time on quite a few manufacturers and various make/models that appealed to me, from full-sized 9mm's, 40mm's, and 1911 .45 ACP's (hope I got all those right). And while I heard and read plenty of good things about each model I became interested in, including my dad's Sig Sauer 9mm and .22 which I had fun shooting, due to all of the positive reviews, great Utube videos from various sources, and wealth of feedback on CZ's line of 75 9mm's I went to the store today and purchased my first firearm, a CZ 75 SP-01. Thank you to all who spent the time to provide information to others like myself for these CZ 75 pistols. I found them to be very helpful in making my decision. I hope to enjoy the pistol as much as you all have.

  May 29, 2012 I spent four months researching and shooting various makes and model 9mm semi automatic hand guns before recently purchasing my CZ 75 SP-01. The time and cost was well worth the effort, as my SP-01 has performed beyond my expectation. I have shot over 1500 rounds without a hic up and look forward to many more. I have enjoyed this purchase so much I am looking to purchase one of CZ's fine shotguns to add to my collection and hunting pleasure.   Last year I made the leap and purchased a CZ75BD. This being my first CZ, I was excited to put it through "it's paces". While I found the pistol to be very accurate, I had a major problem with the fire control system. About forty percent of the time, when the hammer was at full cock and I pulled the trigger, it would fall to half cock. I put about 200 rounds through it, thinking the pistol just needed breaking in. Unfortunately, this didn't help. I contacted CZ customer service and arranged for warranty service. The pistol was sent to CZ and much to my surprise and chagrin, I received a pistol less than two weeks later. I inspected the pistol and found the serial number on the pistol I received to be different from the serial number on the pistol I sent for repair. They had sent me a brand new CZ75BD! I have put just over 3000 round through the weapon and it runs great! It's more accurate than I can shoot, it's reliable and a joy to drive. I am now looking to purchase an SP-01. Thank you for a great product and superb customer service.

  In 2008 I contacted Angus and his staff at the CZ custom shop and ordered a SP-01 custom. At the time I was heavily involved in IDPA and wanted a gun built for me. I wanted a gun that was fast, pointed naturally, and fit my hand. At the time I was shooting with a young man who had a CZ 75. I fell in love with his pistol the first time I shot it. About that time I moved and joined another IDPA club that held night matches so an integrated rail was a must. The SP-01 fit this bill. I placed the order with Angus and one month and $1100 later I had my new pistol. I have been out of competitive shooting for about three years now but this pistol is still my baby. I love this pistol. This pistol feels good in my hand (better than my 1911 in fact), it is accurate, and due to the weight and low profile slide muzzle flip is minimal. I have never had a malfucntion and I have fired several thousands of rounds through this gun. The sights are outstanding and built to facilitate quick target acquisition. In my opinion the CZ 75 family of pistols are the best pistols on the market. Mine was worth every penny spent. Angus and his staff are outstanding. CZ will be my choice for any future pistol purchases.

  Just got the sp01 shadow. It is a awesome gun. I have had a cz97 b for years and love it so I looked to cz for a 9 and glad I did. I now have a new favorite. It is a pure pleasure to shoot, and the ergonomics are perfect. Went to the range with a couple of glock guys and they tried it a few times they sheepishly admitted it was awesome. Thank you CZ for such a gear gun!

  This pistol is probably the best firearm I own. The attached picture is a target that my son was shooting with a .22 rifle at 20 yards so I thought i'll see if I could get close to center mass and 9 rounds later all are in the 9 ring and i'm standing there very impressed. This pistol shoots far better than I ever could and such a pleasure to shoot. I was a die hard Glock fan but because the SP-01 handled so well I will be purchasing a SP-01 Phantom for carry.

  I am new to pistol shooting. Tried many demo guns. Got the SP01 and I love it!!! Incredibly accurate and great feel in hand. No FTEs or FTFs shooting everything from PMC and Blaser 115 FMJs to Federal HST HPs. Trigger gets better every time I use it. My buddy with the $1000+ 45 SA might be getting jealous.

  I have shot this sidearm several times...and each time it becomes more impressive. I love this gun. The build is great, and its amaingly accurate. I have fired many handguns, from revolvers to glocks, to berrettas, and this is by-far THE BEST!!!

  So I took my new SP-01 to the range today and WOW. Now keep in mind that I have not fired a handgun a single time in over ten years so this gun is way more accurate than I make it look. You know when you have made a good shot and likewise you know when you have jerked or anticipated the shot and every time I knew it was a good shot it was dead on. This thing is so comfortable and accurate that I almost feel for the bad guys. I fired a total of 108 rds broken down into 6 mags of 115 gr fmj. Two mags of WWB, two of PMC Bronze, and two of Remington UMC. I can honestly say the only problem I had was that I didn't have a speed loader so I could shoot more, but after loading six mags by hand with new mags that my hands were killing me. This gun operated flawlessly!!!

  Just got my SP-01 the other day. I love the feel of this pistol. I usually shoot big bore single action, and this is my first auto (and second CZ). The accuracy is excellent, even with the cheapest ammo I could get my hands on. This is one slick little gun, there are a lot of choices out there and I'm really happy I went with a CZ.
