  I bought this model very recently from local FFL who ordered it for me. After researching many different models I decided CZ had the most bang for the buck. Rifle came in and as I opened box I was very impressed with quality of wood,checkering,aesthetics,etc. decided to clean bore,and all parts from factory test fire. Took it to the range and ran 160 rds at 50-100yds. Groups at 50 were through the same hole,groups at 100yds were within .500 or better with. 4-16x40mm scope. Only problem I had was bolt was sticking a little at 50rds,then I had some bad feeds,but I imagine that was from magazine being new and bolt needs to be worn a little more. Overall...I would buy another CZ rifle. Looking for a .22lr now for my dads Xmas gift.

  I just do not know of a rimfire rifle even close to this price range that is as nice. Accuracy is great and the walnut and blue is beautiful. This is my 3rd 453.

  My shooting partner thought I was CRAZY to spend this much money on a rimfire rifle, that is until he shot it. This rifle loves Hornady ammo. The Prairie Dogs hate it. Tiny groups, amazing trigger, GREAT RIFLE. I only have one rifle that I like more, my CZ 527 222 Rem.

  Wow, took my recently purchased used 453 fluted .17 to the range with nine different brands of ammo. With a Sightron scope set on 14X, shot three eighths groups at 100 yds. Incredible accuracy for a production gun with factory ammo. Still can't believe it. CZ, don't change anything.

  Just picked up my new CZ 453 in 22LR for some serious squirrel hunting.  Mounted a new Nikon ProStaff 4X rimfire scope on it and off to the range. WOW!  This gun shoots.  I have never seen such tight, consistent groups at 25 and 50 yards. Quarter will cover 90% of all of them, some a dime.  Can't wait to hit the woods here in Ohio.  My compliments on one fine gun.   JMS
