The Scout is a compact rimfire rifle with a 12" length of pull for young shooters. Its shortened dimensions, reduced weight and single round loading device make it a perfect first rifle for any boy or girl. The single round loading device helps teach ammo conservation and marksmanship. The rifle fieatures adjustable open sights and an 11mm dovetail groove for mounting optics. Rifles are delivered with a single-shot adapter, although any of the .22 LR CZ 452 magazines will fit the Scout (5 or 10 round) and are available separately.

Added by DaveI bought this rifle for my 6 year old son. Like others that have posted -this gun is the most accurate rifle I own and have ever shot. It is a pleasure to shoot and my son shoots it great. I got a cheap scope for it but it is so accurate and fun to shoot that I am thinking of geting a higher quality scope since I like shooting it so much.

Added by Dai UyAbsolutely the most accurate rifle that I own including my centerfires and the last one I will ever part with! My best 100 yd. group is 4 shots, .24 inch. (I had one flyer which was my fault and not that of the rifle) Eley Ammo although it shoots MOA groups(sometimes .5 inch groups) all day with virtually any .22 ammo. My 4 power scope is a small and cheap Chinese $20 one! Needless to say, I have recommended my CZ to many.
