The Canvasback is built on the same principles as the Redhead or Wingshooter with two minor differences: it features extractors rather than auto ejectors and the receiver is finished in a black chrome to match the barrels. 

This workhorse is a perfect choice for wingshooting applications  — especially for those hunters who don't like chasing empty hulls. Available in 12 or 20 gauge, you just can't go wrong with this durable shotgun.

      I recently purchased a new CZ Canvasback 12gauge with a 28" barrel for shooting clay targets. I shot it for the first time today and it preformed flawlessly all day. It is a solid gun for the money. I could not see over $1,000.00 for a shotgun to shoot clays with. The Canvasback sholders well, is light weight compared to my side by side, and did not break the bank to add it to my collection. It is truly a little workhorse.

      Just bought a new 12ga Canvasback,and it is one great shotgun for the price! Busting clay birds just as well as my BT-99 or my SSC Weatherby shotgun.I can't wait to use it for doves and pheasants.

      I just purchased a new 20 gauge CZ Canvasback Silver Reed's Special (a special run made for Reed's that features a silver receiver). Bagged my limit of pheasant with it yesterday. I love the gun so far, performs as well as other more costly over and unders I own. For the price, I highly recommend the Canvasback.

      This is my first O/U couldn't be happier with it. Have shot a lot of trap and skeet with it. Gun shoulders great and gets on target with ease. Now looking to get a SxS.

      I bought the 20ga. for 590.00. I have used it for Pheasant hunting and trap shooting. This is an excellent handling shotgun. I'm going after the 12Ga. also.

      I bought this gun at sportsman warehouse for a total of 550 dollars and it has been doing a job like a dream boat. I have not had a hangfire or misfire, even after 900 rounds of 3 dram eq. What I suggest is to get a medium sized recoil pad

      I have the Canvasback in 20ga. What a nice gun. Was looking for a gun for grouse hunting that did not cost my first born. Light and good target aquisition, really like all the chokes you get as others do not offer as many.

      I bought a 20 ga canvasback and have shot 200 rounds through it and love it. An excellent gun at a reasonable price.

      I purchased a 12 gauge CZ USA Canvasback shotgun last year from my local Gander Mountain. A long story short, my 13 yr old son more less claimed it this waterfowl season and I've not had it in my hand s on it since. He absolutley loves that gun and does VERY well with it. The Canvasback has operated flawlessly for him, too. Here's a picture of him and his CZ USA Canvasback with a successful hunt.

All CZ’s double guns are built on frames proportionate to their gauge. For added durability all exterior barrels are hard black chromed with chrome lined interior. These affordable shotguns are topped off with hand checkered, select Turkish Walnut delighting the most discriminating aficionado.

.410s come with fixed chokes in improved cylinder and modified. All of the other CZ shotguns come with screw in chokes in Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Improved Modified, Modified, and Full.

CZ’s new line of shotguns is manufactured by a well-respected company with over 75 years of history in making shotguns.
